On MintMusic.com, MM Members can create their own store for the purpose selling physical items online. Similar to Ebay and Etsy, Mint Music Social Network offers its members a personal store page to sell "their" merchandise. Whether you are an Outlaw Country artist that designs belt buckles, an R & B songstress with your own fragrance, or an 8-Bit DJ with a vinyl LP, your MM Store can provide your products with the attention that they deserve. You may list as many products as you wish and just like MintP3, all of the revenue generated from the sale of your merchandise will be deposited directly to your PayPal account. In addition to your personal store, all Mint Music Member products will be placed in the official Mint Music Store, thereby adding more exposure to your merchandise.Monthly MintP3 Judging Contest
At the end of the month (start date determined by MM), 1 instrumental & 1 song will be selected as the winner of the Monthly MintP3 Judging Contest. The owner (Mint Music member who uploaded the audio content) of the song will be designated as the winner of the Monthly MintP3 Song Judging Contest and will have $500 dispersed into their PayPal account. The owner (Mint Music member who uploaded the audio content) of the instrumental will be designated as the winner of the Monthly MintP3 Instrumental Judging Contest and will have $500 dispersed into their PayPal account. MM members that upload a song and an instrumental are eligible to win both $500 monthly prizes.Yearly MintP3 Judging Contest
During the 12th month, after 11 months of consecutive Monthly MintP3 Judging Contest, 2 instrumentals & 2 songs will be selected as the winner of the Yearly MintP3 Judging Contest. The owner (Mint Music member who uploaded the audio content) of the instrumental will be designated as the winner of the Yearly MintP3 Instrumental Judging Contest and will have $1000 dispersed into their PayPal account. As an artist, I'm sure you understand how difficult (and expensive) it is to have your music played on a licensed radio station. There is only so much time available on a licensed radio station, much of it is devoted to advertising, and the rest is consumed by "currently" popular artist with massive record label backing. However, what happens if you are a local, unsigned, or a signed artist on a small label with little capitol? Nothing happens.
